Leticia Ortiz

StanRTA Director, Finance & Administration

Leticia became StanRTA’s Director of Finance & Administration in the summer of 2021. She is responsible for strategic business planning, supervising/conducting all financial operations, and managing the administrative duties of StanRTA. In addition, Leticia ensures financial integrity and accountability and maintains internal controls.

Leticia is a highly organized, solutions-oriented manager experienced in all aspects of finance and administration. She promotes effective employee relations and emphasizes teamwork in developing innovative support strategies. She began her career in 1996 as Revenue Accounting Supervisor for the Stanislaus County Auditor-Controller’s Office. From there, her career progressed to positions with increasing responsibilities. She served as the Controller for Stanislaus County Health Services Agency before taking her role at StanRTA.

Education

Leticia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University in Sacramento.

Prior roles

Before her leadership roles in Stanislaus County, Leticia was a Business Finance Manager IV for the Stanislaus County Public Works Department until 2019. She also served as a Fiscal Accounting Manager II for the Stanislaus County Community Services Agency from 2014 to 2017. In addition, from 2011 to 2014, she was an accountant for the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.
