Modesto Area Express (MAX) and Modesto Area Dial-A-Ride (MADAR) have extended Free Fares through September 2020! This effort is in response to increased cases of COVID-19 in the Modesto area. By continuing to limit interaction between drivers, passengers, and the farebox, we hope to mitigate the spread of the virus and provide much-needed relief to our heroes at local medical centers and hospitals.
MAX encourages riders to practice social distancing, and please remember to wear a mask or face covering while waiting at the bus stop, riding, and exiting vehicles.
