The Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority (StanRTA) will unveil the new S bus on Thursday, December 16, 2021. The event will take place at 12:00 p.m., on the 10th Street Plaza in Modesto (1010 10th Street).* The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The S will represent the combined services of Modesto Area Express (MAX) and Stanislaus Regional Transit (StaRT), which merged under StanRTA last July. The event on December 16 will offer a sneak peek of how different public transportation will look in the community and will involve local community leaders along with current and potential transit riders.
*In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Transit Center.
