Join Modesto Area Express and a new electric bus at the Vintage Faire Mall on Saturday March 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Bus will be in front of Starbucks by the electric charging stations. Visitors can climb aboard and check out the sleek new machine to see why Modesto Area Express (MAX) is all charged up!
About the Electric Bus
You may have noticed sleek new buses with a futuristic design driving the streets of Modesto. Modesto Area Express (MAX) is pleased to have five of these zero-emission, battery-electric Proterra E2 series buses (built on a platform designed to provide both flexibility and durability) as new members of the MAX fleet. The new buses produce zero tailpipe emissions and will decrease the City’s dependency on fossil fuels. MAX is pleased to welcome these awesome-looking buses to help Modesto cut pollution and make our city a better place.
