As the weather gets colder, many of our community members will be in need of shelter to stay warm. Unfortunately, that shelter cannot be the Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority (StanRTA) or Stanislaus Regional Transit (StaRT) bus. Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority (StanRTA) has a “No Immediate Return Trips on the Same Bus” policy. This is to protect all residents and help keep public transit welcoming to all.
If you are in need of a ride to shelter, we are happy to help give you a ride there for free for the rest of 2021! If you need assistance in finding shelter, please contact Community Housing and Shelter Services at 209-527-0444.
