You may have noticed sleek new buses with a futuristic design coming and going from the Modesto Transit Center. Modesto Area Express (MAX) is preparing five of these zero-emission, battery-electric Proterra E2 series buses (built on a platform designed to provide both flexibility and durability) to become a part of the MAX fleet early this year. The new buses will produce zero tailpipe emissions and decrease dependency on fossil fuels. Modesto Area Express is pleased to welcome these awesome-looking buses to help Modesto cut pollution and make our city a better place. Enjoy the ride!
