You may have noticed sleek new buses with a futuristic design driving the streets of Modesto. Modesto Area Express (MAX) is pleased to have five of these zero-emission, battery-electric Proterra E2 series buses (built on a platform designed to provide both flexibility and durability) as new members of the MAX fleet. The new buses produce zero tailpipe emissions and will decrease the City’s dependency on fossil fuels. MAX is pleased to welcome these awesome-looking buses to help Modesto cut pollution and make our city a better place.
